Just a reminder.
I’ve moved to my other blog, CMFunhouse. I’ve been posting there pretty much everyday. I know I haven’t been very active on YouTube lately, but trust me. Great things to come. So until we meet again, stay gold. Bang.

I might delete this blog soon, since I have been using most of my Tumblr time with the OTHER blog, CMFunhouse.
I might retool this one so you can see the more “personal” side of CM, but that is undecided.
I like the CMFunhouse tumblr better since it’s more exciting than this one and it has more followers.
Just in case, follow me at cmfunhouse.tumblr.com and I will see you later. :^)
REPOST! CATCH ALL OF THIS & MORE TOMORROW NIGHT ON TOONAMI! SATURDAY NIGHTS FROM 12-6AM ON [adult swim]!

Here’s a first sneak peek at Bad Seeds. I finally finished all the art for my Nick pilot over the holiday! Yay! We’ve shipped everything for the animation part of the process! And it only took three years (sob). I’m really happy with this look. I wanted something a little more muted and natural than Chowder’s trippy, rainbow palette. None of these characters are the mains. They’re just critters living in the forest, minding their own business.
All the models were drawn in Illustrator and colored in Photoshop. I use the Illustrator brush tool and a custom brush that has a little tooth to it. Drawing in Illustrator takes some getting used to (it’s easier if you draw big), but I like being able to tweak the lines and scale stuff. The BGs are done in Photoshop with watercolor brushes (usually set to a lower opacity) and textures from photos I took around my neighborhood (for the leaves and such). I turn the photos into halftones and stamps, then colorize them.
Maybe I’ll put a little more production stuff up soon.
Now it’s time to start thinking of music!

What if Adult Swim premiers Rude Removal on TV for New Years…
Seems like why they would take forever.
Wallow wants you to watch the first episode of Bravest Warriors on Cartoon Hangover, exclusively on YouTube
Fran Krause, the multi-talented show runner of Cartoon Hangover’s other show, took a break from teaching at Cal Arts and his other duties, to make this rad animation of Wallow from the Bravest Warriors.
Check out Fran’s original GIF announcing Bravest Warriors premiere date and follow Fran’s tumblr for more great GIFs.
Subscribe to Cartoon Hangover and never miss an episode of Bravest Warriors, airing Thursdays!
Watch. I recommend it. Too insane for words, but what else can you expect from the creator of Adventure Time?
